How Secure Should Secure Be

Published by Larry at 6:18 pm under Information, Internet Security, News, security

datacentData storage is a very costly business considering the fact that one of the biggest network of data centers is owned by Google who has managed to keep them out of the sight of well, everybody. The lack of information regarding the location of Google’s famed data center or data centers might be the thing that has spared it from the many attacks that have been done in the past years. Botnets, Viruses and other malware have been targeting not only the lowly desktop I’m using but the whole internet itself. Imagine managing to disable one of the major data links in and out of a major country like the US, can you imagine not being able to go online or even to get to call family members. Data centers are secured not only from the rest of the internet but from physical attacks as well. Till recent;y no one has ever seen a Google data center till a lone photo was released of a Network or IT tech doing work in what seems to be a 40-footer container with several hundred or so data servers on racks. Security has become so much of a concern that even you have been offered the ability to secure your data online in some remote server for a fee of course.
